Scheduling your online GAMSAT...
4 pm local time? 2 am local time? Weekend? Weekday?
Of course, know thyself!
If you have not yet completed your ProctorU bookings yet, just some things to consider:
I would avoid choosing Day 1 to minimize the chance of being the ‘guinea pig’ for this new system, and I would target the time of day that you are confident you tend to be most alert. There is no longer a need for you to sit “full-length” mock exams, but rather you should sit one 2-hour “session” at a time.
Of course, because of security, you may be at your computer for about 3 hours. You should start sitting similarly timed mock exams at the same time as your scheduled 3-hour session, and of course, in the same location and using the same computer. Ideally, you practice your optimal diet, use of caffeine (if it is normal for you), use of your two A4 scrap papers, and you practice avoiding the use of the loo!
You will not require the stamina of a traditional paper GAMSAT (often being at the exam centre for more than 8 or 9 hours) since you will only be at your computer for 2-3 hours per session which is an incredible advantage.
If you want to share some thoughts about your choices, please post.
