Question 6 asks ' 2.0 M solution of sucrose freezes at -3.72 degrees Celcius. What will be the freezing point of the solution after complete hydrolysis (i.e.: when sucrose is digested, it is hydrolysed to form glucose and fructose)?'

I correctly identified that the change in temperature would be iFm = (2)(3.72) = 7.44

However doesn't this mean that the new freezing point will be -3.72 - 7.44 = -11.16? Or do we not subtract because sucrose itself is being hydrolysed?

Exactly!

We do not subtract one from the other "because sucrose itself is being hydrolysed". And so, there are only 2 particles remaining.
