Apologies for the incredibly late reply.
The key is for you to set aside ample time to go through the worked solutions and understand why you got some of the answers right and some of the answers wrong. Section 1 requires a certain extent of logical reasoning and a lot of inference skills. Also, the mix of passages from poetry and novels to cartoons and social/political commentaries makes judging the reason for your unfortunate scores quite difficult. So you really need to take time in analysing your answers vis a vis the explanations. Getting used to the way questions are presented and how to determine the correct answers can only be reinforced by constant practice and post-test analysis.
